TED Conference

Every year the TED Conference brings together the greatest minds in the world to share new ideas, technology, information etc., and every year the conference chooses to grant the wish of one person with an important goal. The fellows at the conference will hear out the person's wish and it's their responsibility as a collective unit to come together and try to make that person's wish become a reality. This year the conference chose Jamie Oliver whose wish is to fight obesity through education and training. I love this conference because it promises to bring change and has proven to do so in the past. Hopefully this years wish will come true! Sleep Paralysis

Remember how I told you that I woke up the other night in the middle of a dream and I couldn't move. I was fully conscious but I was struggling to move my limbs. It happened again last night!!! It's a really scary feeling not being able to move and I was worried something was wrong with me. So I found what seems to be a pretty good explanation on this website. I think it can explain it better than I can. As for the feeling of something evil being in the room I definitely felt the same feeling but I didn't want to tell anybody about it because I thought I was going crazy. I felt like whatever was in my room with me was causing this to happen to me. Turns out that's just a common symptom of sleep paralysis.

Messing around with pictures

Cooley mentioned something about this photo editing software called gimp today and I came home and started playing with it. This is what happened as a result. I thought it looked pretty cool. I started with a picture of a tree with the sun behind it and it sort of morphed into a demon or something.
